Today we took Jaxson to his first pumpkin patch! Auntie Cindy, the boys, and grandma came up and went with us even though Darren & Braden had already gone to the pumpkin patch in Fremont. There were all kinds of activities including a maze, petting zoo, and a train. Jaxson even wore his really cool skeleton outfit that Auntie Cindy got him! We all had a fun time even though Jax slept through most of it. I can’t wait until he’s able to run around and pick out his own pumpkin!
Bouncy Chair
18 OctLast night was the first time Jax got to sit in his new bouncy chair given to him by his Auntie Cindy, Uncle Tim, and cousins Darren & Braden. He’s still a bit small for it (the harness went all the way up to his chest) but he had a good time bouncing in it anyway. Thanks for the awesome gift guys, we love it!
Welcome Home Party
12 OctWe had a small get together on Sunday with family and a few close friends to welcome home our handsome little boy. It was the first time that anyone besides mommy and daddy has gotten to hold him. Jaxson also got to meet his cousins Darren and Braden for the first time. Darren kept giving Jax kisses & Braden just stared in curiosity, it was adorable to see them together. Unfortunately not everyone could make it, but they were in our thoughts. Thanks to everyone that came out, love you all!
Big Boy Braden
10 OctLast week was my nephew Braden’s first birthday! We were so sad that we had to miss his birthday party, but it was the morning after Jaxson came home from the hospital. The good news is that they finally got to meet yesterday at Jax’s welcome home shindig. I can’t wait for Jax to be big enough to run around with his cousins! Love you guys & happy belated birthday to Braden!
Home Sweet Home
6 OctOur sweet baby boy got to come home on Saturday and we couldn’t be more excited! These last three weeks have been the longest of our lives, especially because I was sick all last week and was unable to go to the hospital to visit him. It sure feels good to have him here at home with us, and are so thankful. Welcome home Jaxson, let the sleepless nights begin!
